Hello and welcome to the Marie Buchholz State Farm Insurance Agency. Just to tell you a little about me:

Though I was born in New York, my family moved to Ft. Lauderdale when I was a baby and except for my college years, I am a lifelong resident of Broward County. I am a graduate of The University of Michigan.

My husband Bill and I are childhood sweethearts and we have been married since 1967. We moved to Coral Springs in 1973 and to Parkland in 1999. We have three sons (two of whom are also State Farm agents) and nine grandchildren.

Prior to opening my State Farm Insurance office, I was a Real Estate Agent in Broward and Palm Beach County. I have been a State Farm Insurance Agent in Coral Springs since 1990. I have witnessed the growth of Coral Springs and Parkland and Broward County in general and my Agency has grown to include customers in Coconut Creek, Margate, Tamarac, Sunrise and Deerfield Beach. Some of our customers have relocated to Palm Beach County and beyond. We service the entire State of Florida, with many customers in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach and Lake Worth to the north and communities in Miami-Dade to the south. We offer car insurance, all types of homeowner insurance, life insurance, health insurance and so much more!

I am proud of my 30 plus years as a State Farm Insurance Agent and have been recognized by State farm with awards and designations, including Crystal Excellence Honor Club, Chairman’s Circle, and Ambassador for Life. I attribute these honors to my excellent team and we make it our goal to provide a remarkable customer experience . My licensed team brings over 83 collective years of State Farm Experience and coupled with my 30 plus years we have over 113 years! We offer warm, efficient and seamless service to our policyholders and we love helping people to make sure that life goes right for you and your family.

I am originally from Chicago, and have lived in Broward County since 1978. My State Farm career began in 1992 and I joined the Marie Buchholz State Farm Agency in 2013.

I am very knowledgeable in Home insurance, liability, condo and renters' insurance both with State Farm and Citizens. I also handle auto insurance, motorcycle insurance, recreational vehicle insurance and boat insurance.

Our office services all of Florida, including Coral Springs and Parkland, Tamarac, Plantation, Sunrise, Margate, Coconut Creek and Deerfield Beach, The Town of Davie, Cooper City, Pembroke Pines, in Broward County and Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach and other areas of Palm Beach , Miami Dade County and St. Lucie County .

My husband Paul and I are animal lovers and we have a rescue German Shepherd named Lexi. Our family enjoys being on the water, especially in the Florida Keys. I have two grandchildren and am active in the PTA and volunteer programs for the Broward County Schools. In addition to water activities I like to spend my free time traveling, and being with family.

I have been with State Farm for over 36 years. I am married to my wonderful husband; Chris and we enjoy our two beautiful daughters and our three beautiful grandchildren all under 5 years old and all Boys!

We also love to travel and now are beginning to travel the world. In the past year we have been to Italy, Israel, and Jordan, along with some cities we had never adventured to here in the US. We are planning another trip to Italy in March of 2024, this time to northern Italy and it's Lakes.

I love being able to help people in any way I can.

In my spare time I enjoy reading and gardening. I love to grow herbs and enjoy cooking.

Hello, my name is Lillian Lugo and I am originally from Queens NY. I have lived in Broward County since 1992. My husband and I have 3 wonderful children and 2 great dogs which we rescued. My career with State Farm started in 2005, and I have joined the Marie Buchholz Agency as a customer service representative as of January 2024, something I am very proud of.

My goal is to make sure our insured's insurance needs are met. In my leisure time, I enjoy playing with my dogs, traveling when it's possible and enjoy sketching art.
